20th ANNUAL AFCEA PNC CYBER & IT TRAINING DAY FOR JBLM
Reach Pacific Command personnel by joining us as a sponsor, or exhibitor, at the 20th Annual AFCEA - Pacific Northwest Chapter's (PNC) Cyber and IT Training Day for Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) set to take place at the American Lake Conference Center - JBLM North on Thursday, May 19, 2022. The purpose of this event is to further educate Cyber and IT warfighters on the latest cybersecurity strategies, remediation techniques, and resilience tactics. This will be accomplished through providing SME speaker sessions and a live exhibit hall featuring cyber industry innovations, and IT modernization advancements.

The Cyber & IT Training Day will focus on educating Pacific Forces end-users at JBLM, and we will also invite personnel from nearby Camp Murray. Expected attendance is 200+. Our core audience will be from the Lewis (Army) side of the joint base.

Event Update - SCRA Mount Rainier Chapter Will Co-host The Cyber & IT Training Day
​
We are excited to announce that the Signal Corps Regimental Association (SCRA) Mount Rainier Chapter - President, COL Charles D. (Dean) Smith, Brigade Commander, 22d Corps Signal Brigade, will join the AFCEA Pacific Northwest Chapter (PNC) as a co-host on the 19 May Cyber & IT Training Day. The SCRA Mount Rainier Charter provides support for all active, reserve, and national guard, officers, warrant officers, enlisted members, and civilians, as well as any former members of the Signal Corps to aid in preserving for posterity the proud heritage of the U.S. Army Signal Corps Regiment, and Signal units. The chapter’s Board of Directors and membership is made up of Senior Leaders and key Signal, Cyber, and IT personnel at JBLM.

Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) became one of 12 joint bases across the Department of Defense in 2010 when Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base merged. Joint Base Lewis-McChord is a strategically-vital, joint force power projection platform. The installation hosts I Corps, 7th Infantry Division, the Network Enterprise Center (NEC), Madigan Army Hospital, 62nd and 446th Airlift Wings, Western Air Defense Sector, and more. AFCEA PNC membership includes industry and military personnel from Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Everett, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Bremerton Navy Shipyards, Bangor Naval Submarine Base, Whidbey Island Naval Station, and the surrounding cities. Additional goal is developing security focus in the areas of cargo and transportation security, bio-security, and cyber security
